When you choose to say no, remember what you are saying yes to.
There has been an ongoing family situation that for years I have avoided making the decision of a permanent no. The world has made sure I never forget all I “could miss out on” so I kept a toxic door open.
Today I finally realized that in saying no, there is a whole new world of what I get to say yes to.
Yes to peace.
Yes to protecting my spirit.
Yes to emotional freedom.
It is often so much easier to focus on the possible negative consequences when deciding if it is time to say no.
But what if instead we started looking at the “Yes!” that is possible only by saying no?
