Human beings were born to be creative, but many of us lose contact with our creative selves somewhere along the way.

We begin to believe the lie that only some people can be artists. We believe the lie that you have to be "good enough" to even be allowed to pick up a paintbrush.

We believe the lie that we are not creative, when this is the furthest thing from the truth.

YOU are creative! Even if you haven't made art since you were little, the desire is in you, and it is time to set your inner artist free!

This is not a class to teach you how to be a better artist. Instead, this is a class to help you embrace the FUN and JOY in creating just for the sake of creating.

Joyful Intuitive Art is a 4 week course that will introduce (or re-introduce) you to doodling and drawing, painting with acrylics and watercolors, and collage and papercrafts. While you will learn techniques in each of these art forms, the purpose is not to become a better artist, but rather to explore various methods and styles to help you find the way YOU are called to create art!

Why 4 weeks? They say it takes 21 days to make or break a habit. It is my hope that by the end of this class you will eagerly and joyfully create time for yourself to create each and every day, even if you only have 10 minutes most days! We are happiest and most alive when we allow our creative energy to flow freely through us, and this means we need a regular creative practice.

Four weeks is also a comfortable amount of time to learn some new skills and techniques while feeling supported - while this isn't about becoming the best artist ever, I will be accompanying you on your journey, providing support and technique tutorials so you get the most out of this journey. Over the course of 4 weeks you can also form new bonds and friendships with your fellow classmates in the private facebook group just for your class!

The inaugural session of Joyful Intuitive Art is set to launch late summer of 2017. Stay tuned for more details!

Looking forward to creating with you!
